What’s Your Business Edge? A Lesson from Aunt Barbara

I didn’t even know Tupperware was still around. But apparently that doesn’t matter, because as you can see from the video below, ‘Aunt Barbara’ is making a killing at it! All because she figured out the perfect gimmick that would give her an edge.

Take a look:

While I’m not suggesting that you go dress up in drag to sell your products and services, I think there’s a lesson we can all learn from Aunt Barbara. What is it about you – your personality, your style, your unique way of thinking and being – that you can use to create an edge for your business? Unlike corporate environments, where you may be encouraged to mimic the values and personality of the organization and your peers, as an independent, you have a wide-open opportunity to inject your personal flair into your business.

So, what’s your edge?
